Giving back to the arts community is an important part of this practice. The arts offer unique pathways for creating inclusive, dynamic communities, so I am always interested in working with groups and organizations that advocate for and support artists, arts education, arts organizations, historic sites, and cultural institutions. People are the heartbeat of the arts. Contributing pro bono services to initiatives and activities that draw on the arts to build vital, equitable communities is fundamental to how I think about personal and professional success.
